Connecting Students with NOAA Coral Reef Scientists

Report cover

Students everywhere will engage via interactive webcasts and social media dialogue with NOAA Coral Reef Conservation Program team members. This NOAA Reef Smart collaboration with JASON Learning links the science fundamentals kids are learning in school to real-life applications of coral reef science and future STEM careers. Two Live STEM Role Model Q&A events with NOAA Coral team members will consist of live video and question submission forms. Questions submitted during the live events will be sent to the live event moderator, who will select as many as possible to pass along to the live events host and our featured guests.

On November 7, 2013 from 1:30-2:00 pm Eastern Time, JASON Learning will connect youth with NOAA's Kevin Lino, a coral reef biologist, diver and inspiring STEM role model. To participate in this live event, visit www.jason.org/live/stem-career-qa-kevin-lino-coral-reef-biologist
